Host A Show

SAPA Contest Bid Preliminary Information 2009-2010

            Step One:

 Secure a Show Bid Packet either online or in person at the June Meeting from SAPA.

 

            Step Two: 

 

Complete the Contest Bid Preliminary Information Form.

 

            Step Three: 

 

Return completed Contest Bid Preliminary Information Form, along with the $200.00 Franchise Fee, detailed maps, pictures of your facility, and any additional information to SAPA no later than September 1, 2010 (this is NOT a postmark date). Make all checks payable to SAPA (Southern Association for Performance Arts).

 

            Step Four:

 

                        The Executive Board will review bids and determine the schedule.

 

            Step Five:

 

Show hosts will receive a contract from SAPA that is to be returned no later than September 29, 2010 with a statement on school letterhead, from a school administrator or principal, stating that the facility has been reserved for the contracted date(s).

 

            Step Six:

 

Show hosts will send the final packet to SAPA no later than three weeks prior to their contracted date(s).

 

            Step Seven:

 

Read Contest Handbook thoroughly for instructions regarding Contest Guidelines for Show Hosts.

 

            Step Eight:

 

Please send a representative (your Event Coordinator or Booster Parent) to the annual SAPA Circuit School’s Show Host Clinic, which is held in the fall of each year.
